More than just a boutique hotel in Bloomsbury, we’re proud to be a not-for-profit hotel in Central London – with 100% of our profits going towards supporting Goodenough College, a renowned postgraduate residence and academic community. When you stay with us, you’re not only enjoying a peaceful escape in one of London’s most historic and culturally rich neighbourhoods – you’re also contributing to the future of some of the world’s most talented students – including those on low incomes or from challenging backgrounds. It’s a stay that feels good and does good. In early 2026, The Goodenough Hotel will be undertaking phased heritage restoration works to the front of the building. These works are carefully managed, with little expected impact on guest access, comfort, or enjoyment of Mecklenburgh Square. Any limited works will be planned to minimise noise, and a small number of rooms will be temporarily closed, allowing us to carry out light-touch refurbishments, including new carpets. • In case of no-show, a charge may be imposed up to the full value of the booking.
